About This Role

We are looking for a Performance Manager who will serve as a strategic partner to automotive clients, driving retention, growth, and measurable business outcomes through AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will build trusted relationships, deliver performance insights, and align customer goals with Impel’s conversational AI and marketing automation technology to maximize impact across the customer lifecycle.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for an assigned portfolio of automotive clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships focused on retention, growth, and long-term success
  • Analyze performance data and deliver strategic insights that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Identify expansion opportunities and execute account growth strategies
  • Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Support to deliver client success
  • Manage multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Travel as needed to support client engagement and business objectives
Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment supporting the automotive industry. A strong understanding of how dealerships operate is important, and hands-on experience working in a dealership is a definite plus. You’ve worked with AI-driven solutions and feel confident discussing how technologies like conversational AI can enhance the customer lifecycle and deliver real, measurable impact.

You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and naturally driven to perform at a high level. You take ownership of your portfolio, stay ahead of client needs, and thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. This role also requires the ability and willingness to travel 4–5 days per week to build meaningful, in-person client relationships and support long-term success.
