Senior Platform Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Platform Software Engineer to own the architectural integrity, scalability, and reliability of our core marketplace systems. Our platform processes real-time transactions between buyers and sellers and requires strict latency control, high availability, and data integrity.

Requirements

• Design and evolve scalable backend services and APIs
• Architect and refactor legacy components into modular, maintainable systems
• Define and enforce architectural standards and engineering best practices
• Optimise high-load systems (performance tuning, indexing, caching)
• Design robust data models and implement complex business logic
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, refactoring, and analysis
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code
• Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure decisions (Azure/AWS)
• Improve observability, logging, fault tolerance, and resilience
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Participate in security hardening initiatives
