Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a comprehensive online ticketing platform tailored for events, dinners, and organizations. This role requires expertise in developing robust backend functionality, seamless integration with payment gateways and charity providers, and potentially implementing an automated phone booking system to ensure a smooth and user-friendly experience for both organizers and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a comprehensive online ticketing platform with robust backend functionality.
• Integrate the platform with various payment gateways to facilitate secure and efficient transactions.
• Collaborate with charity providers to ensure seamless donation processes within the platform.
• Implement an automated phone booking system to enhance user convenience.
• Ensure the platform is user-friendly, responsive, and accessible across various devices.
• Perform regular testing and debugging to maintain a high level of performance and security.
• Optimize the platform for scalability and reliability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the platform.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business requirements and user needs.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in web development and programming, particularly in building online ticketing platforms or similar applications.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
• Proficiency in integrating payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) and charity providers.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with implementing automated phone booking systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
