Founding Content Designer

We're looking for our first Content Designer to join the Product Design team at Clay, a company that helps organizations turn any growth idea into reality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related product writing roles
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates crisp, user-centered writing in complex products (B2B SaaS experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment, setting direction as well as executing
• Systems thinking: experience creating voice/tone guidelines, naming frameworks, and reusable copy patterns
• Strong product intuition: instinct for simplifying complexity and understanding trade-offs in design decisions
• Comfort conducting lightweight user research (interviews, comprehension tests, surveys) to validate and improve copy
• Collaborative spirit: skilled at working with product designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers
• Clear communicator who gives and receives feedback well
