Role Summary
The Senior Advisor, Health Systems Services is a strategic position that helps shape how specialty pharmacy services support complex health system partners at scale. This role plays a critical part in advancing Evernorth’s specialty distribution strategy through CuraScript SD by ensuring operational readiness, pricing integrity, and compliant, scalable pharmacy models.
You will serve as a trusted enterprise advisor, guiding cross-functional teams through complex onboarding, contracting, and pricing initiatives that directly impact growth, customer experience, and revenue integrity. With a strong growth mindset, you bring clarity to ambiguity, balance strategic intent with operational realities, and influence outcomes across a highly matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational strategy for health system specialty pharmacy models, ensuring onboarding, pricing governance, and class-of-trade structures are accurate, scalable, and aligned with manufacturer and distribution requirements.
Drive enterprise-level programs and initiatives focused on specialty pharmacy onboarding, process simplification, pricing transformation, and new distribution or contracting models.
Provide strategic guidance on specialty pharmacy contracting and pricing, including manufacturer agreements, GPO structures, and class-of-trade frameworks to support compliance and commercial intent.
Serve as the business owner for complex, cross-functional efforts involving EDI automation, pricing system enhancements, and contract implementation, aligning timelines, risks, and outcomes.
Partner closely with Sales, Contracting, Trade Relations, Pricing, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure shared understanding and coordinated execution across the enterprise.
Act as a primary escalation point for complex operational or contractual issues, balancing customer impact, regulatory considerations, and operational feasibility.
Champion continuous improvement, ensuring root cause analysis, documentation, and corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
Develop and mentor junior analysts, building expertise in specialty pharmacy operations, contract interpretation, pricing governance, and health system business models.
Establish operating rhythms and prioritization frameworks that promote quality, accountability, and consistent delivery.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, specialty distribution, or health system-based pharmacy environments.
Demonstrated experience interpreting and operationalizing complex manufacturer or specialty distribution agreements.
Strong understanding of health system pharmacy operations, including drug procurement processes and class-of-trade requirements.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-level impact.
Strong analytical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills in complex operational environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading analysts or project teams.
10% travel requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting integrated delivery networks (IDNs), provider-owned specialty pharmacies, or health systems.
Familiarity with 340B program structures and compliance considerations.
Background in trade relations, manufacturer contracting, or specialty pharmacy pricing models.
Exposure to EDI workflows, pricing systems, or large-scale operational or technology transformations.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 64,900 - 108,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
