Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:

Personally design and develop solutions for enterprise, large-scale, or high-visibility programs, modeling design excellence and contemporary practices.
- End-to-end ISD and multi-modal design; Ensure the relevant, impactful, and measurable design, development, and sustainment of comprehensive learning solutions aligned to GE Aerospace business objectives. Apply evidence-based learning science, adult learning principles, and ISD methodologies to create experiences that drive behavior change and performance, and design multi-modal learning (instructor-led in-person and virtual, eLearning, self-paced, cohort-based, social/collaborative learning, and performance support). Champion learner experience, accessibility, and inclusive design.
- Enterprise collaboration and standards; Collaborate closely with HR/Talent/Learning partners, business leaders, and other learning teams, managing stakeholder expectations, trade-offs, and timelines in a complex, matrixed environment. Partner across GE Aerospace’s learning community to leverage common content models and design standards, ensuring a consistent learner experience across programs and teams.
- Lean, FLIGHT DECK, and continuous improvement; Apply lean principles and GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating system to the learning design lifecycle to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, continuously refining standard work and leveraging data and feedback to improve learner experience and outcomes and demonstrate impact to the business.
- External partnerships and leading practices; Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key external partners and vendors, maximizing opportunities to collaborate, leverage leading practices, and scale design capacity while maintaining quality and cost targets.

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning, Education, Organizational Development, HR, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in learning design & development, preferably in large global organizations.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, preferably leading senior designers or consultants and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated deep expertise in ISD, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning principles, with a strong portfolio of modern, multi-modal learning solutions.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into effective learning and performance solutions, including performance consulting, needs analysis, and solution roadmap creation.
