About the Role

Vital Virtuals Global HR Solutions is looking for an experienced Medical Biller with a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR) management, claims processing, and denial resolution. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are experienced in revenue cycle management and want to support healthcare practices in maintaining accurate billing and steady cash flow — all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
• Submit, review, and track medical claims to insurance companies
• Identify, analyze, and resolve claim denials and rejections
• Post insurance payments, patient payments, adjustments, and refunds accurately
• Reconcile EOBs and ERAs with billed charges and payments received
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment issues
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, coding rules, and HIPAA regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records in the EMR/EHR or billing system

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience as a Medical Biller, with hands-on AR management
• Strong experience in claims processing, denial management, and payment posting
• Solid understanding of medical billing processes, EOBs, ERAs, and payer portals
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience with US healthcare billing (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR and medical billing software
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes

Technical Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 Pro or higher (genuine, 32/64-bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i5 (8th Gen or higher) or AMD equivalent
• RAM: Minimum 8GB
• Internet: Wired DSL/Fiber with at least 50 Mbps
  (No LTE or prepaid connections)
• Headset: USB noise-canceling microphone
• Webcam: HD 720p or 1080p
• Monitor: External monitor (17", 19", or 22")

Compensation

• $5/hour during the first 3 months (training/probation)
• $6/hour after successful completion of probation
