Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who can take ownership of payroll processing across multiple clients in a professional, fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote opportunity with a competitive base salary up to $90K DOE and 100% employer-paid benefits.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of full-cycle payroll experience
• Demonstrated experience running payroll for multiple clients, entities, or 1000+ employees
• Hands-on experience with payroll tax filings, payments, and tax resolution
• Ability to read and resolve state and federal tax notices, including manual filings when required
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, employee classifications, and compliance requirements
• Experience with cloud-based payroll systems; Gusto experience is a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
